Visa Application Procedure (Tourist & Business):

All UK visa applications are processed outside Bangladesh and facilitated by VFS Global Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd. To apply, you must book and attend an appointment at a Visa Application Centre in Dhaka or Sylhet. Prior booking is mandatory for submission.

Requirements (Tourist & Business):

Personal Documents:

• Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity from the return date, with at least 2 blank pages) and all old passports. If the previous passport is lost, provide a G.D (English) copy.
• Copy of Birth Certificate/National ID.
• Marriage/Divorce Certificate (as applicable). For widows, provide a Death Certificate.
• For non-Bangladeshi applicants: Bangladeshi residence permit valid at least 3 months beyond the intended departure date.
• For minors (under 16):
  • Copy of Birth Certificate (with parents’ names).
  • Consent letter addressed to the London Consulate, signed by both parents.
  • Photocopy of both parents' passports.

Professional Documents:

• For Businesspersons:
  • Updated trade license, company letterhead (2 blank pages).
  • For partnerships: Business agreement/deed.
  • For limited companies: Memorandum of articles, certificate of incorporation, Form 12, VAT, IRC, membership certificates, and business card (2 pcs).
• For Employees:
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) with company details and applicant's position.
  • Pay slip, original salary statement, or Government Order (GO).
  • Visiting card (2 pcs).
• For Students:
  • School ID, leave letter/permission of absence.
  • For school trips: Letter must mention purpose, duration, and destination.
• For Retirees:
  • Retirement documents.

Financial Documents:

• Bank statement & solvency certificate (original with seal/signature) for the last 6 months (personal and company).
• Other financial documents: FDR, savings certificates, or share statements (if available).
• Income tax certificates for the last 3 years (E-TIN included).
• Valuation of other assets (land, buildings, etc.).

Overseas Documents:

• Tourist Purpose: Invitation letter & inviter's passport/status proof in the UK (if available).
• Business Purpose: Invitation letter from the UK host organization, conference details, visit reasons, itinerary, and employment contract details.

Travel Documents:

• Air ticket booking copy.
• Hotel booking confirmation.

• Additional Charges: Notary and translation (if required).

Processing Time:

• BD 2 Global File Processing: 3–4 working days.
• Embassy Processing: Approximately 3 weeks (subject to embassy decisions).

Remarks:

• BD 2 Global provides consultancy services and does not guarantee visa approval.
• File processing begins only after receiving all necessary documents.
• Processing times, requirements, and fees may change without prior notice.
• The embassy reserves the right to request additional documents.
• All Bangla documents must be translated into English and notarized.
• Applicants must ensure fingers are free of Mehndi or any other coloring for biometric scanning.
